Just after releasing the GT3 RS, Porsche is now ready to introduce the descent 911 GT3. Unfortunately, there still remains a very limited information revealing the details of the 2018 Porsche 911 GT3. Things for sure, the company will build up the future 911 GT3 as powerful and modern vehicle. The major upgrades will be more intensified to create a tough and beefy powertrain.

If we are wondering the 911 GT3 exterior and interior design, just be patient as now the Porsche fore representatives still focus on developing the power of the car. So far, the only information about the body platform reveals that the 911 version will have reduced weight to give the car more powerful performance. The Porsche foreman, Mr. Preuniger, states that his team prefers to add up the car performance by reducing the weight so then the ratio of power-to-weight can be improved. Moreover, the auto company has prepared to upgrade the hardware components such as bigger breaks, redesigned chassis and also improved suspensions. For the detailed inside features, we could not provide the sufficient information anyway. However, Porsche manufacturer has granted that the 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 appearance will look so stunning.

Engine

Based on the latest news, the upcoming 2018 Porsche 911 GT3 will be powered with a 3.8 liter flat six engine capable to deliver the output of 475 horsepower with a 9,000 rpm red line and reach up to 60 mph in 3.0 seconds. The best engine transmission so far will be the 7 speed manual PDK gearbox to offer better driving experience. Along with the car development, it is still possible especially for the PDK to improve the handling and shifting standard transmission.
