The base engine used for the US market should be a turbocharged with 2.0-liter and four-cylinder engine which can produce 252 horsepower and 273 pound-feet of torque. So, it is predicted that 2018 Audi Q5 will have turbocharged 2.0-liter diesel which can produce 190 hp and 236 lb-ft. Moreover, this car will use the update seven-speed S tronic with standard dual-clutch transmission. In addition, this car wil be provided with the plug-in hybrid variant sporting an all-electric range around 30 miles.

According to the information from the Audi, this car will be available in 2016. The sample of this car will be sent to US as the sourced from a New Mexican plant which currently still under construction. So, it is predicted that car will be available to be seen in the showroom in 2017 as the model year of 2018. However, even though Audi has announced the release date for this car but the information of the price of 2018 Audi Q5 is still unclear yet.
