2018 BMW X7 SUV
After anticipating and waiting all rumors come to be true for about 15 years, finally BMW has official confirmation that they would like to give a green light for the production of 2018 BMW X7. It will be the largest SUV from BMW X7 and the debut will be started on the showrooms at the end of 2017 or at the beginning of 2018.
Design and Specifications
2018 BMW X7 was tested for its driving performance with the different texts of three-rows SUV. It will be built with luxurious design and the information for its presence was from Spain. For the starting price, it is still hard to be identified.
The draft of the new 2018 BMW X7 was observed in February regarding to its test specimen. It seems that the company still works on its prototype with the body-shell of 7-Series. There is no official announcement yet about when the company will start its construction but it is quite clear that BMW will never share any components with the Rolls-Royce SUV. This latest car will be designed with the platform and features from the 7-Series and its final design will be based on the new BMW “35up” design. The car has modular platform with the lightweight body structure made of carbon fiber. The design will be a bit similar to Rolls-Royce SUV.
For American market, 2018 BMW X7 will go with different engine options. It might be supported with six and eight rolls and later there will be plug-in hybrid. The engine is mentioned with V12 engine and 6.0 liter as the optional but for European market. There is a big sign for petrol engine and V12 for 760i and this tuned version could offer about 550 horsepower and 554 lb-ft of torque. The standard setup will be All-wheel drive and all of those engines are paired to eight-speed auto transmission.
2018 BMW X7 is luxurious with the support of three-row SUV layout to accommodate seven people. Its size is larger than X5, X7 but the weight is identical. The cabin for this SUV has many similarities as the BMW 7-Series.
2018 BMW X7 Price and Release Date
The price tag for this SUV will be various and the strong rivals in the market could be Cadillac Escalade, Audi Q7, Infiniti QX80, Lincoln Navigator and the last is Mercedes-Benz GL. The price will not go too far from those rivals. It means that the base variant could be about more than $60,000 while the high trim might be $100,000 for 2018 BMW X7.
